Not The Way It's Supposed To Be...
Life hasn't gone as planned, you're doing your fair share and more.
You're two parents rolled into one, and sometimes your heart gets sore.
Your doing the best you can, Gods strength flows within.
No matter the situation, no matter the struggle your in.
You are in what seems like a never-ending battle with Satan for your soul.
He can never win, because you've accepted Jesus, and let him take control.
God allows the pain, he lets the hard times come, and he lets them go.
Only so that he can walk you through, and to help you grow.
You might get frustrated, at times you might not understand his plan.
Stay focused on the truth, remember he is holding your hand.
Believe that your not in this alone, he is at your side, you’ll get through just fine.
A single parent no longer, he will stand the test of time.
Maybe things haven't turned out the way you hoped they might.
I'm sure there are many reasons why, that can only be seen with Gods glorious sight.
